Welcome to SetMe by Techinline!
By using the SetMe service or signing up for an account, you are agreeing to these Terms, which will result in a legal agreement between you and Techinline Ltd (also referred in these Terms as "SetMe" or "We" or "Us"), a Canadian corporation and developer and owner of the SetMe software. Please see the Imprint for company details.
Before using the SetMe software, you should be aware of the content of all the documents mentioned above.
1. Purpose of Business
The main purpose of the SetMe software is to allow IT professionals and helpdesk technicians ("Operator") to establish remote desktop sessions over the Internet to provide technical support to their customers ("Client") remotely.
3. License Agreement
Before evaluating, using, or purchasing the SetMe software, please read and accept the License Agreement (LA). By accepting these Terms of Service you also agree to our License Agreement.
4. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
SetMe is committed to providing prompt and reliable services. Please refer to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for details.

Prices are listed on SetMe's website in US Dollars, the default currency. The SetMe software can be purchased by users from all around the world. A payment currency depends on the country where an individual or a legal business entity buying a license has a registered address ("Country of Purchase"). The applicable currency will be displayed on SetMe's Buy Now form. The buyer may also be provided with an option to select a preferred currency when purchasing the SetMe software. In such cases the exact payment amount will be calculated based on the current US Dollar currency exchange provided by our authorized billing partners, Paddle and Brightmarket LLC.
If you purchase or order the SetMe software, you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes such as sales tax, VAT, withholding tax, and any other applicable taxes that may be imposed by relevant jurisdiction. If you are exempt from paying any taxes, you must provide us with appropriate evidence of tax exemption. Taxes are calculated by our authorized billing partners, Paddle and Brightmarket LLC, on the basis of the billing information or Country of Purchase provided at the time of purchase or order.
8. Online Payments
You may submit a credit card order on our Pricing page or through your SetMe web portal account to purchase the SetMe software. You will subsequently be redirected to a Buy Now form and required to fill in payment information.
A successful online payment will be regarded as a "Purchase". Your SetMe software will be shipped electronically and you will receive a confirmation email for your purchased item(s) with instructions on how to access/use the SetMe service.
Online payments are collected by one of SetMe's authorized e-commerce billing partners:

When you make an online payment with SetMe by credit card, your card information will be securely processed by Paddle or FastSpring.
All credit card transactions are encrypted for your protection. Our Buy Now pages use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure the security of your transaction. Please make sure all the SSL security features are turned on in your browser's preferences or options. You can verify that the page is protected if the URL displayed in the location bar begins with "https:".

9. Bank/Wire Transfer
You may submit the order via a Wire Transfer. Your order will normally be processed within 24 hours (on the business days) after the payment is received. The SetMe license(s) will be activated only after payment is received. Note that you may be charged fees for any applicable international bank transfers. Please contact us if you wish to pay by Wire Transfer so that we can provide a corresponding invoice and payment instructions.
10. Paying by PO, Check, or Money Order
You are welcome to pay by PO, Check, or Money Order and may request the corresponding quote and/or payment instructions. However, your order will be processed and the SetMe license(s) will become active only when payment is received. Please contact us for instructions on submitting the order.
11. Paid Invoice
When your purchase is successfully completed, you will immediately receive a copy of your paid invoice. All paid invoices are stored indefinitely within your SetMe web portal and may be viewed/downloaded from the web portal at any point.
12. Refund Policy
SetMe provides a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. If you are dissatisfied with the SetMe software for any reason, you will receive a full refund if the refund request is made within 30 days of the account activation or purchase, minus any processing commission fees charged by our e-commerce partner for processing your payment. The purchase is considered final after 30 days and is not subject to a refund. Note that the Money Back Guarantee refund policy applies only to original orders. Any recurring orders are not eligible for a refund.
13. Free Trial Policy
A SetMe free trial account is provided for evaluation purposes with the intent of introducing you to the software's functionality, performance, and any other areas that may assist you in making an appropriate decision regarding the purchase of the SetMe software beyond the free trial period. By default, a SetMe free trial account is valid for 30 days.
A SetMe free trial user is defined as a legal entity, home user, non-profit organization, regional representation or subdivision which has registered the SetMe free trial account. Registration of multiple free trial accounts by a single user is regulated by SetMe and is generally against our Terms of Service. The user may apply to register multiple free trials by contacting SetMe's sales team.
SetMe reserves the right to block, limit, or discontinue access to any trial accounts that are suspected to be in any manner linked to previously registered trials by the same free trial user. During the trial period, to the extent permitted by law, we provide the Services "AS IS" and without warranty or indemnity, and all other terms otherwise apply.
We reserve the right to change or supplement these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this website along with the date when they become effective. We urge you to monitor this website to be informed of any changes. In the event that the modifications materially alter your rights or obligations thereunder, we will make our best efforts to notify you of the change. Your continued use of the SetMe software after the revised Terms of Service have become effective indicates that you have read, understood and agreed to the current version of these Terms of Service.
